Submission Guidelines

Please email me if you think one of your books should be featured on the site, or if you would like to add my information to your mailing list.

I specialize in literary criticism, literary fiction, books about France (French literature, culture, history, etc.), England (ditto), Italy, Central Europe, the historical avant-garde, art history, urban studies, cultural studies, gender studies, and autobiography. 

If you have something that doesn't fit any of those categories that you think would work on the site, you can send it anyway.

What I am NOT interested in: books about how and what French women eat, know, dress, weigh.  Memoirs by expatriates in Paris reflecting on what they've lived and learned. Anything self-published.

I make no guarantee that I will be able to write about all the books I receive; nor can I promise that your book will receive a positive review.  However, it is, in general, my editorial mission not to write about a book if I don't have anything nice to say about it.
